Oréli lives in Brussels. Her work is inspired by an exploration of childhood memories. She is inspired by independent comics, by awkward characters that are both disturbing and endearing, that evoke a world where repulsion and attraction are good friends. In this world difference is a criterion of seduction.
Oréli is an astonishing aesthetic artist with work ranging from illustration for children to dark imagery that could be found in American comics. Her style is described as: “Monsters nice, venomous, hybrids delirious and botanical".
